Membership Matters
We believe that membership in a local church family is essential to being a growing follower of Jesus. After all, Jesus came for, lived for, died for, sent, and is coming again for His church! Our Membership Circle is designed to help you understand what it means to be a member at Glorieta.
Membership Circle
During a Membership Circle, with the pastor, you will cover five core topics: Belonging to a Body, Our Story, Our Beliefs, Our Mission and Vision, and Our Covenant. The meeting will include a time for you to share your testimony and a time for Q&A.
Upon affirming our church covenant and articles of faith, you will be presented to the church for membership. The church will have the opportunity to vote to affirm you as a member, commit themselves to you, and welcome you into the church family.

Believer's Baptism

Baptism is the public sign of faith in Christ and unity with His church. We practice believer's baptism by immersion in water to most faithfully represent our spiritual death and resurrection in Christ in a physical way.
If you have not yet been baptized following salvation, we ask that you take this step before becoming a member. During our Membership Circle, you will have opportunity to ask questions about baptism. |
